i believe it was actually due to their fathers anima. as it does say it will kill mortals from sheer blood curdling fear in some cases. OR covering the babys mouth suffocated it o.o;
The girl holding him killed him, by accident, trying to keep him from crying. She accidentally suffocated him. She is only a child herself, after all, and a fairly stupid one. If it was me, id let him keep crying…after all, its not like they wouldn’t be found if they were in the Underworld. The dead can sense the living, if I remember right.
