I looked, but I have yet to find any reference to a battle yo-yo, although I haven’t looked exhaustively hard to be honest. Can someone reference me a genuinely functional combat yo-yo that was genuinely used? I did find flexible swords for real (it’s an Indian special thing which is a sword hilt with a bunch of sword length wires coming out of it that was invented because of dueling rules against stabbing weapons) but I didn’t find a reference for a combat yo-yo.
Also, this was a missed opportunity to do the trite, unnecessary and silly reference to The Scream. What happened?
