His dad\u2019s drinking problem.<\/p>\n<p>The Inspector is generally a good boy, but he is starting to develop his own idea of right and wrong. The voices of the Neverborn have sung in his soul since his birth and he is starting to think that maybe they do exist, contrary to what his mother says. He wonders why his mother is building an empire in creation when the road to enlightenment is clearly found in destruction.
