Chorus of the Neverborn 458
This page is a little difficult for me to post. Chorus of the Neverborn has been a part of my life for over a decade, and though it’s time for Kyle and I to devote ourselves to new and exciting endeavors, it’s bittersweet to be closing this chapter. That being said, I’ve got a couple more pages of epilogue to finish things up, so this won’t be the last time I post to Chorus, but it is the formal end of the comic. Thank you all for sticking with us for so long, and for sharing your thoughts and love of Exalted with us. I may not speak often, but I read all of your lovely comments thoroughly and I cannot say how grateful I have been for your support over the years. It means the world to me that I can share something I love with all of you, and I will dearly miss doing so.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story and sharing your own with us.
Laurel
Congratulations on finishing a webcomic. That puts you in the top 1% of the field for persistence, and it was a pleasure all the way through.
Thank you for staying with us for it!
Well, this is devastating, still i think “Better that ends than it keeps going and going or in permanent hiatus”. Things needs to end, even more truth for the abyssal exalted and i always knew that a story about the deahknights will not end well. So, even when it ends at least i look forward to the epilogue pages, just for some loose ends finally knot. Good work Laurel, i really enjoy it, good luck to you and Kyle on your projects you have earned it 🙂
I wish it were otherwise, but Abyssals just aren’t made for happy endings… and with a story about Abyssals being (terrible) parents, it was a bit inevitable that it would end poorly for most of the kids involved. Thank you for your good wishes, I’ll try and share a little about what Kyle and I are doing next as I post the epilogue.
Ah, definitely a Greek/Byronic tragedy. Those who have fallen fell further, and those who are left are broken or just trying to get by.
A sad story, but not one I’m sad to see finished.
I wonder what the epilogue holds.
Also! Congratulations on finishing the comic.
Wait, that was an ending? Not everyone is dead yet. You’ve got a heck of a lot of threads to tie up in the epilogue.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Short of the Unconquered Sun showing up and smiting the rest of them, I’m not sure we could wrap it up in a decent length of time if everyone has to die.
Well I’ll certainly miss this. It’s been unlike any other webcomic I’ve read in a lot of ways. Including coming to a proper ending, heh. So congrats.
You mentioned new endeavors. Any hints as to what?
Just being a silent reader all the time. Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your webcomic as one of the cool ones that tackle the awesome that is Exalted and delivered.
I’m a bit sad that it ended but as mentioned before, better get an ending than endless nothing.
@Ramsus – I will be posting next week with some news about upcoming things along with the last epilogue page… it’s not Exalted flavored, but I am excited about it!
@Little Curse – Thank you so much for sticking with us the whole time! Exalted is my favorite game, and I am glad I got to share a little of my love for it with you. Hopefully there will be more Exalted comics in the future from other creative folks, because I want to keep reading them, too!
